So this was it.
The day of the golfers' departure.
Sad day it was for me.
I had grown really fond of ME, Speedy and TWG.
I really and truly wished they could extend their stay but no such luck.
We went to the supermarket to pick up some snacks and stuff for them to bring back as gift tokens for family and friends.
After that, it was home again for them to finish their final packing.
It was depressing watching them pack.
I could not stop whining for them to stay.
As a memory for the wonderful holiday we've had, I made them each sign on a golf ball for me.
Noon - It was time to leave for the airport. Again, like the day they arrived, I had to pre-book a cab to transport all the luggage and golf bags. We arrived at the airport and thank goodness it was not too chaotic at the SQ counter. With AA's PPS status with SQ, she managed to get all of them into the business lounge.
I bade my farewell.
I hated to see them leave.
All there is now is digital memories and signed golf balls of the incredible time I had with them.
Now it all seems so far away, but I guess I'm content.
I got to know three fabulous people.
Back to reality.
Back to crappy work life.
Writing up on this SA golf tour is my escape to reminiscing the good times.
Goodbye Speedy Gonzales.
Goodbye The Wildest Golfer.
Goodbye erm... White Hair AA.
And most of all.... goodbye ME.
Till we meet again.... in Singapore....
