Bramble Hill is part of the famous 'Fancourt Links' course. The Fancourt course was where the recent 'President Cup' tournament was held so yeah, like every other damn bloodsuckers, you pay a price for playing at that famous course - meaning you will need to be a resident staying at their hotel AND... basically pay an arm and a leg just to do so! So the golfers settled for the 'inferior' golf course - Bramble Hill.
There was a Aids-Benefit Concert held there the previous night, so the mess of litter was still apparent. Apart from that bit of an eyesore, Bramble Hill is quite a spectacular course. It was the first of two links course that the golfers played during the tour. It was quite a challenge and yeah, I learnt what the link course meant. Thanks but no thanks, I don't think I'll be playing on one of these courses for a long time to come!
Thank goodness we had buggy arranged for every course played. The usage of buggy has to be pre-arranged so if we did not have a buggy on this Bramble Hill course, I would have died. Die... Die!!! I would not have even made it past hole 1. Never mind I'm the non-golfer. But I am so terribly unfit that if I had to walk all that up-down slopes.... and I say it again.... I will die.... die!
The only mistake made here - the golfers did not get a caddy so talk about a challenge and getting yourself mentally messed up just after the first whole. In collaboration with the spectacular view, it was added amusement for the non-golfer to see the taut facial expressions on the golfers face as they battled through each hole.
One observation though, as demure as Jo-Jo is, she enjoyed the challenge. It shouldn't come as a big surprise that she fare relatively well. Speedy-Gonzales is at her best when she encounters challenge.
Go Speedy Go!
My camera failed me again for the umpteenth time during the tour so I only managed a couple of courtesy shots. Crap. Absolutely annoying. Lucky for the camera it is company's property, or I am so sure I would have gladly smashed it, and smashed it AGAIN.
The weather did not behave itself either. It was grey and quite cloudy, but still decent for play. Wait till you see the weather conditions the golfers had to play at the other links course! Woohoo!! Lo and Behold! A sight not to be missed!
Oh yes.... and by the way..... M.E. was the eventual partner of TWG from the previous night of 'Oh-Bei-Som'....
