After the guilty indulgence in gianormous cake, I brought them to the roof-top flea market for a walk. Somehow, shopping is REALLY not part of their agenda. It did not take long before they started to show signs of boredom.
There was, however, this group of boys who were performing in the middle of the flea market and it did provide some temporary entertainment. They were amused by how lithe the body of the Black kids and of course, it was more amusing watching the younger boys (about 5 years old?) do their plasticine-like dance.
It did not take an hour and we were done with the flea market. AA was looking forward to dinner - braai/barbeque AGAIN. We went to the supermarket after the flea market and bought food for the braai. It was starting to feel like braai is the latest indulgence fest for AA. TWG was looking forward to the succulent lamb as well. That was a reminder that of the Singapore way - FOOD.
We took the day real easy. It was a well-deserved rest after the Cape Town tour. We sat out at my home's patio, enjoying the lovely weather as we chatted. As much as it was a very simple day, it was relaxing and definitely enjoyable.
Countdown to the end of the golfers' SA tour.... I was starting to really dread the thought of their departure....
