A George Way We Will Go....

Day 7 : 21 March 2005

Perhaps another brownie point (to redeemeth its horrendous rating) for Ritz Hotel, great breakfast buffet spread.

Breakfast inclusive in tour package, can't complain on that one.

I feed on coffee anyway.... and to retract their brownie point, there was always a coffee machine that broke down.

So yes, I was glad when we checked out. But I also had a mental dread that we would be coming back to this hotel in 3 days time....

In our usual punctual ways, we left promptly at the stipulated time for George. It was another long drive out. I can't remember the actual distance or time it took. All I remember is long drive. I missed being the driver as I'm a lousy passenger. I get all nauseous and restless. Bleah. Hail to the golfers! Don't know how they manage these long distance land-travels.

The journey to George was monotonous. Due to time constraints for the golf games, we could not do the 'Garden Route' and get the pretty sights. We went by the boring N-route. I struggled to fall asleep and watched the golfers in ency as they snoozed away peacefully. And there I was stuck at the front seat, self-psyching the nausea to go away, and chatting with sonic boom Chew to keep myself amused.
Why couldn't we have a private jet?
