Pezula Championship Course (Sparresbosch, Knysna)

Day 9 : 23 March 2005

Rating : Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Has anyone ever played golf amongst the clouds?

It is exciting I tell ya!

I don't know if that was a rare occasion or a usual occurence, but if you ever ever want to experience playing amongst the clouds, then you MUST play at this spectacular-spectacular course - Pezula Championship Course.

Pezula is a privately-owned golf course. That is about as much as I know about it. It was the second links course that the golfers played at. It bore a higher difficulty level in comparison to bramble hill. Imagine this! Hole #1 is a Par 5. Ha! And to top it all, it has this ridiculously wide hazard ditch that gives any first-timer on this course a real migraine. Tricky, I tell ya.

There are no caddies available so honey.... good luck!

As for the non-golfer, this was definitely the most enjoyable course. The view was beyond stunning - both the course and the scenary. Absolutely fabulous! It was not as fun for the golfers though... especially when the clouds started to roll-in and visibility was almost zero.

And I forgot to mention one thing.... the young dude working at the pro-shop? Damn he's cute! Why ya think Pezula got full 4-smiley ratings from me? The cutie won them the extra thumbs-up!

"Good shot! But don't know where!"
