Ostrich Farm

After the most unfulfilling game of golf (and course-seeing for the non-golfer), we proceeded on to the Ostrich Farm. Time was not really our best friend that day. Golf started later than usual, and perhaps due to the travellers getting used to SA's pace of life, the game took longer than usual as well. So we only had 1 option left - visit the Ostrich farm. It was took late for the winery tour.

First thing we did when we arrived at the ostrich farm? Eat! Superlicious food. It was stir-fry ostrich meat - chinese style. I suspect some Chinese man must have planted himself there and taught the cooks how to whip up this meal. Then there was fried ostrich egg. Yumz as well! Apparently 1 ostrich egg equates to 22 (or is it 24?) chicken eggs. Heck about cholesterol! Gimme the eggs!

Ostrich - stupid animals aren't they?
Brain the size of their eyes
In capable of anything else but hiding their head in the hole.
Their meat is yummy though, I'll eat them anytime, anyday, thank you very much.
