AGAIN.
Monday is a psychological affair. You mentally tell yourself it is the start of the week and the end of the weekend. Then you psych yourself up to blame all the blues on Monday because it is Monday Blues. Overdose of caffeine doesn't help. You're staring at the stack of paper sitting next to you, conjuring in your sleepy Monday mind on ways to procrasinate. In fact, I think if we harness our energy from figuring out procrastination tactics to actually working, perhaps some work will actually get done. But who cares really? Monday is the official procrasination day of the week, and though it is a daily act but we can unabashedly declare on Monday. And why? Because it IS Monday. Someone named it Monday Blues so we gladly take on the task of literating its meaning. Thank you. Thank you.
I'm on my third cup of coffee and still lulling over my task list for today. I refuse to get out of my pjs and finding reasons NOT to get out of the house (a psychological comfort factor; to feel less guilty about slacking). Hmmm... maybe I should go to the driving range today. I'm suppose to be going back to Bloem this weekend for golf with the Boss and family but I've not practised in a week. My OCB (Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour) with this blog template thing was at its best.
First work call just came through.
Bubble has been burst.
Back to reality.......
