And I Cry For Agassi....

Crying 2
Nnnoooo!!!!! Agassi lost to that damn Argentine Coria. I (and quite obviously 99% of the audiences) so badly wanted to see Agassi win. Just one more match, old man, just one more....

It is like watching Jimmy White of snooker. Both are over-the-hill but for the love of their legendary status, your heart goes out to them. You just want to see them win one more game and retire (perhaps?) with a bang. Obviously the Grand Slam will top the icing but sorry Agassi, as much as I want to see you win one more tournament, my vote goes out to both Federer and Safin. I'm a traitor already for supporting both of them so I can't be a bigger traitor for choosing you over them.

Did anyone watch the Agassi-Coria match? How many do agree that Coria IS annoying with his argument over the line call. Ok... I'll be fair. Coria is graceful in his play, moves around the court well and reads the shots well. But play aside, he is not an easy character to like. He complains too much and can't move on with valid line calls. In our race, we define it as cry-father-cry-mother (CFCM). Neh man! Such a woman! Get over it and stop sulking!

Apparently the audiences were on the same key as me when they viciously booed at Coria for his CFCM ways over that ONE line call. I hardly see Agassi display look of disgust (other than last year's - was it Madrid? - tournament with the unprofessionalism of boob-popping line girls) over a player and this was the first. And hearsay that Coria is not exactly a well-liked player in the locker room as well. Not surprising. Quite a pussy he is.

I can't believe Agassi lost.
It was a painful defeat to watch.
I thought he had it all figured out when he seemed all fired-up during the second set.
But for all damnation in the world, he started to falter....
5-3 : serving for set. Lost.
5-4 : Unable to break Coria's serve.
5-5 : serving for set AGAIN. Lost AGAIN.
6-5 : Coria kept serve.
6-6 : Agassi kept seve.
Tie break : Agassi got so trashed. 0-7!

And that was the end of any hope that Agassi might just win another ATP title.

Down with the Argentine!

I bet all my fats that Nadal WILL trash Coria back-to-back.

I wonder...
Will Coria come out on court tomorrow thinking : "Oh man... I'm so gonna get killed by Clammie!"

So I hope!

But then again, Clammie has a bad blister on his index finger.

Hang in there, Clammie!
Give him bagels!
Not even French Fries.... only Bagels.
Sesame-seed bagels with cream cheese and chives.
Smoked Salmon will be too good for him.
