I made a wish and it came true. Flapper-Mummy decided to let me have my own little space to blog too! Now I can woof all about my adventures and most of all, about my mummy (nothing good of course!).
Flapper-Mummy rolled out of bed at about 10:30 am and boy can she sleep. I learned a long time ago that nothing wakes her up and so I came out with my own little stunt - slam-dunk her with my 29.5kg worth of body weight. OK.... and so she'll yelp but fall right back asleep again. Dang! Must think of something new....
Then Flapper-Mummy got into a row with Grandma Choo. What's new? Same thing different day. Flapper-Mummy gets annoyed by how Grandma-Choo baby-talks me and repeat a command thousand times over.... so they are on cold war now. Yikes.
On a happy note, Flapper-Mummy took me to Macritche Reservoir today! Flapper-Mummy and her list.... *roll eyes* She has a new list:
- Discover more doggie-friendly cafes/restaurants;
- Discover the different parks in Singapore;
- Bring me to noisy/industrial places to overcome my fear of strange noises - eeks!;
- More human and dog socialisation - if even possible!
- Organise with Pika and Maggie's mummies our adoption anniversary in July. No prizes for guessing, it will be held at The Garden Slug! Doggie-friends most welcome to join in the fun!
Anyhoo, as it turns out, Macritchie Reservoir is a gorgeous place! Despite the heat when we left the house, it was actually quite nice and cool there.
MacRitchie ReservoirSurprisingly, the quality of the photo taken with Flapper-Mummy's phone did not turn out too bad! :)
We went for a nice stroll before mummy took out..... MY TOY! Woohoo! Ball-time! Flapper-mummy found a nice secluded area and we started playing till my tongue looked like it was about to explode. Fun! Fun!
We played hide-and-seek too. Every time I looked for a shady area under a tree and rubbed myself silly all over the grass, Flapper Mummy runs away and goes into hiding. Damn it! Poor panting me will have to do a sprint to go after her before she disappears!
And then it's rubbing myself on the grass... AGAIN!
Mwaha!
You run, I rub!

And that's my adventure for today. Mummy's going out tonight.... I should be praying hard she does not get selected for staffing because that means I will be home alone for 5 FULL DAYS! Then again, this means I get 5-days of undisciplined acts with the family and loads of unwarranted treats and "accidental food drops" from the table. And then, mummy will get crazy giving me remedial training....
Hmmm..... maybe that ain't such a bad idea after all..... Flapper like!
Paw-5 and licks,
Flapper Choo
