It's officially a year since I've been back and all bummed out in Singapore.
ONE YEAR!
Good grief!
I'm losing it....
I'd like to think I've passed denial stage but apparently I'm still clutching on to Mr Pyjamas for my dear life. My blog still reads 'ZA' rather than 'SG'. How difficult can it be to change the country? Bah!
So I decided to take on a new persona for now. Introducing LOSER GEEK of 2007, otherwise known as LG for short. No no... not those state-of-art Korean technological gadgets. Just L for LOSER, G for GEEK. All in caps, thank you very much.

January 2007 -
Brand new year, no brand new laptop - just renewal and revitalisation of an expired crummy laptop. Delete all data? Yes please! New Installation of Windows XP? Yes, yes and yes again!
For those of you familiar with this painful task of reformatting computers, you can well imagine how much time is spent on the entire process. And just when you see new promise and hope in a renewed, faster running system, all you need to do is install some graphic software and you're ALMOST-screwed once again.
DON'T even think of video-editing softwares!
The catch here is, it's O-KAAYYY to install the softwares, but it's the actual process of application that kills.... or maybe... you should try it yourself to verify my rants. *evil grin* Just don't expect LG here to do the system spring cleaning for you. She's done enough to leave a bitter memory for a long long time.
And then comes this ONE 'Internet Security' software (that's the only one I've tried since it comes as a default TRIAL software installed in a new laptop of that particular make that I'm most familiar with)....
Yawn, yawn....
Switch on the laptop, go make coffee, brush my teeth, take a crap, play with the dog....
Oh wow...
Windows is still loading....
Tap my fingers on the table, what else can I do....
Am I still using THAT software?
Are you mad?
Of course not!
Try the latest version and I promise ya, morning papers will be through before Windows loads.
So yes, renewed system
