07 Sep : Coffee Bay (Wild Coast) - Part 2 : FINALLY THERE!!!

I wasn't lying when I said "arduous journey". It took us 10 hours from Durban to Coffee Bay but we FINALLY made it there. Sore bum, sore bum. Ouch!

[ OCEAN VIEW HOTEL, Coffee Bay, Wild Coast ]

***

Ocean Facing Room
All the rooms are the same layout & furnishing

One of the few accomodations available within vicinity so 'stars' weren't a factor anymore. 3-stars is the best so not a matter of choice.

Complains of sheets not being white (= cannot see how clean the sheets are), crooked curtain rail and God knows what else. I couldn't give 2 hoots and failed to see crooked rail even if my life had depended on it. Exhausted from the long ride and caught in the middle of Wild Coast, wiser to give thanks for the accomodation with drop dead gorgeous scenary than to bitch about it.

Breakfast and dinner are provided and boy are they generous with the portion. Three course seafood meal for dinner, which included a big portion of crayfish so wild guess.... What was the next cause of complain...?

"Too full!"
"Portion too big. Can't eat main course and dessert (awwww shame....)"

Can never make everyone happy.

Saving grace?
The scenary.

My best friend for the night?
Obese dog.

Look at that darling face first....

Then see oversize body! This dog desperately needs to go on a diet!

[ "HOLE-IN-THE-WALL" ]

And we came all this way here just to see this....
THE Hole in the Wall

NOT a very big hole I'm afraid!

[ Leaving Coffee Bay ]

2 little boys see us;
2 little boys run to us;
2 little boys stop;
2 little boys pose....

And the 2 little boys ask for money
